Problem
Flash Player is not working on Windows operating system.
Solutions
- Install Flash Player on Windows 7 (Internet Explorer 32 bit and 64 bit)
- Disable ActiveX Filtering on Internet Explorer 9
- Enable Flash Player Add-ons on Internet Explorer 8
- Install Flash Player on Windows 7 (Mozilla Firefox)
Installing Flash Player on Windows 7 (Internet Explorer 32 bit and 64 bit)
The 64-bit version of Windows 7 can have two versions of Internet Explorer. One is called "Internet Explorer (64 bit)." The other is Internet Explorer 32 bit which is called, "Internet Explorer."

Flash Player latest version is supported on Internet Explorer 32-bit and 64-bit versions. On Windows 7, running Flash Player installer installs Flash Player on both 32-bit and 64-bit browsers if both are present.
To install Flash Player, visit Flash Player Download Center using Internet Explorer and follow the instructions.

Disable ActiveX Filtering on Internet Explorer 9
After a successful installation of Flash Player, if Flash Player is not working on Internet Explorer 9, disable ActiveX Filtering.
- In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Safety. If ActiveX Filtering is selected, clear it.

- Close Internet Explorer and then restart it.
Enable Flash Player Add-ons on Internet Explorer 8
- Select Tools > Manage Add-ons.

- On the Manage Add-ons screen, on the left pane, under Show, select All add-ons from the drop-down list. All add-ons for Internet Explorer are listed on the right panel.
- On the right panel, under Adobe Systems Incorporated, select Shockwave Flash Object, and click Enable, and then click Close.
Install Flash Player on Windows 7 (Mozilla Firefox)
Installing Flash Player on Internet Explorer does not install Flash Player on Firefox. To install Flash Player, using Firefox, visit Flash Player Download Center and follow the instructions.
