Error saving hotspot links | RoboHelp 8 for WordProducts affected
Issue
The hotspot editor allows you to select a region on an image and make it a hyperlink to a topic. In RoboHelp 8 for Word, the editor saves only the first letter of the link, making it difficult to save the link.
Solution
Update the ImageAPI.dll file.
- Close all instances of RoboHelp.
- Locate the folder ..\Adobe RoboHelp 8\RoboHELP\ and back up the existing ImageAPI.dll file.
- Save the replacement file (ImageAPI.dll) to the same folder.
- Open RoboHelp 8 for Word.
Note: Files with the same name (ImageAPI.dll) exist in other folders. Do not replace those files.
