Pop-up menus exported from Fireworks 8 not using CSS

Issue

Even though I use Macromedia Fireworks 8 to export a pop-up menu, the pop-up menu still uses JavaScript code (it does not use CSS to display the pop-up menu).

Reason

---

If you do not select the CSS option during the export process from Fireworks 8, pop-up menus will be created using JavaScript.

Note: The CSS option is checked by default.

Solution

---

To export pop-up menus that are based on CSS, do the following.

1. After creating a popup menu, select File > Export
2. Select "HTML and Images" from the Export dialog box
3. Click Options
4. Enable the CSS options
   
   
   
5. Click OK followed by Export to complete the export process

Note: The option to write CSS to an external file does not need to be checked in order to generate CSS-driven pop-up menus, but it is considered good practice to house CSS code in a separate file.
