JRun support for 64-bit platformsProducts affected
Support for 64-bit platforms with Macromedia JRun is limited at this time. The status of supported configurations for JRun on 64-bit platforms is:
- JRun 4 is not supported in any pure 64-bit environment (64-bit hardware, 64-bit OS, 64-bit JDK).
- JRun 4 is supported with a 32-bit JVM running on 64-bit hardware (for example, Solaris 9, HP-UX).
- JRun 4 is not supported with IA64 (Itanium) hardware in any configuration, even with a 32-bit JVM. Itanium support is being considered for support in the future.
- For JRun 4 Updater 6 on HP-UX, only PA-RISC is supported, and only in 32-bit mode.
