Determining version information for Contribute Publishing Services

Use one of the following methods to determine which version of Contribute Publishing Services (CPS) is installed. Knowing which version is installed is important when considering the CPS update.

Note: The Contribute Publishing Services update 1.1 is only available for the English version of Contribute Publishing Services.

• Click the "About" link in the Contribute Publishing Services console
  1. Log into the CPS console using a browser by navigating to the admin interface, which will be an address like https://<hostname>:<port>/contribute/admin/server.cfm
  2. Click the "About" link (if present) in the bottom right corner of the admin page.
• Append ckm?info to the CPS context root. For example, using the default context root of "contribute," enter the following URL: https://<hostname>:<port>/contribute/ckm?info
  Use the table below to match the reported build and date to the CPS version.
  
• Locate the <BUILD NUMBER> node in cps_root\WEB-INF\product-info\product-info.xml. Use the table below to match the recorded <BUILD NUMBER> to the CPS version.
  
  Note: The default path for Simple Installation of Contribute Publishing Services on Windows is: C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Contribute Publishing Services\jrun4\servers\contribute-wps\contribute\WEB-INF\product-info\product-info.xml.

The version information for CPS is as follows:
