Adobe Fireworks CS4 hangs when working with text (Mac OS)Products affected
Issue
When running under Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), Adobe Fireworks CS4 hangs when working with text (for example, when selecting the text tool or manipulating text fields) or when running an extension or custom panel that is internally modifying text objects.
Solution
- Quit all the applications that are running.
- In the Finder, go to /Applications/Adobe Fireworks CS4/Required/
- Rename the file GlobalResources (for example, rename file to GlobalResources_original).
- Download the GlobalResources Fix file.
- Place this file in the folder that you located in Step 2.
- Restart Fireworks.
