“User limit for this account has been exceeded” error when trying to enter a meeting room

Issue

Upon entering a meeting room, the following error message is displayed:

User limit for this account has been exceeded

There is nobody in the meeting or the number of current meeting participants is less than the limit. Meeting information on the Account summary page shows a higher number of meeting participants than the actual number of participants currently in the meeting.

Reason

The meeting room has an option to "automatically promote guests and participants to presenters". If this option is checked, upon entry to the meeting, two calls are made to register the participant and to promote the participant as a presenter, which increments the quota twice instead of once.

Solution

This issue has been resolved on our Breeze Hosted (ASP) system and has also has been resolved for licensed customers. If you are a licensed customer, meaning that you are running Breeze on your own network, download Breeze 5.1 Service Pack 1.
