Wrong number of libraries opened when multiple libraries are on screen (Flash CS4 Professional)Products affected
Issue
When multiple Library windows are open, Adobe Flash CS4 Professional remembers the incorrect number of Library windows.
For example, with a single FLA open, the default is one Library panel. You can open a second Library panel using the context menu in the Library panel. If you close all libraries at this point (using either Window> Library or Command/Control-L), and then reopen the libraries, three library windows may appear. If you close one of those libraries, closing/reopening all libraries will again show three library panels.
At this point Flash CS4 Professional may continue to exhibit this issue even after quitting and restarting the application.
Solution
Delete preferences to reset the number of library panels back to one.
Note: This procedure will delete all saved workspace settings and return Flash to its default layout. Workspaces can be replaced using step 5.

-
- Windows XP: Open C:/Documents and Settings/<username>/Local Settings/Application Data/Adobe/Flash CS4/<language>/

- Rename the Configuration folder to "Configuration_Old".
