GPS data is not saved in TIFF files saved from Photoshop CS3 and CS4Products affected
Issue
When you save an image that contains GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) data as a TIFF in Photoshop CS3 or CS4, Photoshop preserves the GPS metadata only in the file's XMP metadata, not in the Exif metadata.
Solution
Use the Photoshop native file format, PSD.
