Order an Adobe product platform swap or language swap

Adobe allows customers to swap the platform or language of their single-user product to a different platform or language of the same product.

If you want to swap platforms or language versions, please be aware of the following policies:

All product configurations,with the exception of OEM bundles, are eligible for a platform or language swap.
You pay only shipping costs if you already own the current version of the product you want to swap.
If you want to swap from a previous version to the current version, then you must pay the upgrade price plus shipping costs.
You must have a registered serial number to qualify. We recommend that you register within your product so you can receive the complimentary benefits of Product Registration (for details, see Adobe.com at www.adobe.com/support/registration.html).
You must give up all licensing rights to your current platform or language version.
You cannot swap from one platform or language of a previous version to another platform or language on that same previous version.
After swapping platforms or languages, you may not cross back to your original platform or language version.

If you want to request a platform or language swap, then do the following steps:

Go to the Customer Support Portal for one of the following locations:
- US: www.adobe.com/go/supportportal
- UK: www.adobe.com/go/uk_supportportal
- France: www.adobe.com/go/fr_supportportal
- Germany: www.adobe.com/go/de_supportportal
Create an account or sign in to your existing account.
Under Get Support, click the Orders & Downloads tab.
In the Choose Issue Type menu, choose Returns/Refunds/Exchange.
Click Continue.
In the Submit A Request page, follow the onscreen instructions.
Click Review Case & Submit.

Please note the following details:

You can expect a response within one business day.
Be prepared to complete, sign, and submit Adobe's Letter of Software Destruction.
If you qualify for a platform or language swap, then your order will be shipped standard ground and should arrive in eight to ten business days.
