Cannot modify border color through a script in 3D buttons.

Issue

3D buttons that are set to raised border at design time cannot have their border color changed through a script at run time. The script uses either the obj.borderColor or the obj.border.edge.color.value syntax. This problem occurs only with direct rendering of the form in Acrobat 9.0.

Reason

Buttons are rendered differently in Acrobat 7.0.9 and 9.0.

Solution

If you need to change the appearance of a 3D button at run time (for example when the user highlights the button), then you can do it by changing the button's color or text.
