Saving a file causes redraw problem in model window (Acrobat Professional 9.0 Extended on Vista)Products affected

Issue

When you save a file in Acrobat Professional 9.0 Extended on Windows Vista, the model window turns white. If you resize the window after you save or cancel the document, then Acrobat redraws the model window and background.

Reason

Aero on Windows Vista does not work with OpenGL applications.

Solution

Turn off Aero when you run the 3D viewer on Vista.
To disable Aero on Windows Vista:
  1. Right click on the desktop and choose Personalize.
  2. Click the "Window Color and Appearance" link.
  3. In the next screen, click the link near the bottom for "Open classic appearance properties for more color options".
  4. Select the Appearance tab.
  5. SelectWindows Vista Basic in theTab Color Scheme.
  6. Select Apply and OK.
