Issues resolved by this hotfix
The following issues have been resolved by Hotfix 01:- Referencing a cast member fails when the Cast name has special characters like !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), _, +, |, },etc
- Shockwave Audio (SWA) files were not streamed properly.
- Field component performance is very slow on MAC
Installation instructions
This hotfix is for the Mac platform only. Please follow these instructions to install Hotfix 01.
- Quit Director prior to installing the hotfix.
- Download patchApp.dmg.
- Double click patchApp.dmg. This will automatically extract under mounted Volume patchApp.
- Double-click on patchApp:
From Finder: patchApp -> patch -> patchApp - Follow the installation instructions.
- Re-Launch Director.
Note: If director is installed on some custom location other than "/Applications/Adobe Director 11", then ensure that "/Applications/Adobe Director 11" does not exist. If "/Applications/Adobe Director 11" exists, then the hotfix installation will proceed on /Applications/Adobe Director 11 and will fail subsequently.
