Adobe AIR applications may crash intermittently when idle on Mac OS X Leopard
Issue
When you run an Adobe AIR application on Mac OS X Leopard, you may receive a crash report from Apple.
Reason
This issue may be a result of duplicate or corrupted fonts.
Solution
Remove duplicate fonts using Font Book, and then remove the cache.
Use Font Book, located in your Application directory, to remove duplicate fonts.
Some third-party applications are available to remove fonts cached on your system. For example:
- FontNuke: www.jamapi.com/pr/fn/
- OnyX: www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/onyx.html
