Blocking E_PAUSE authorization event is not working (Flash Media Server)Products affected
Issue
Adobe Flash Media Server 3.0 Interactive Server authorization adaptor is not receiving expected E_PAUSE events.
Reason
Flash Media Server 3.0 has a Smart Buffer feature thatallows Adobe Flash Player 9 Update 3 (build 9.0.115.0) and higher to pause playback without sending the pause event to Flash Media Server. For more details on the effects of the Smart Buffer see "Latency experienced after pausing streaming video" (TechNote kb403029).
Solution
There is no workaround for this issue. Smart Buffer allows Flash Player to pause playback until the buffer is full. The player will only send the pause event to Flash Media Server when the buffer is full.
