Adobe Applications and the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005 change to daylight saving time (DST) General Information
The U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005 extended the daylight saving time (DST) for the U.S. an extra four weeks. Starting in 2007, the DST in the U.S. will begin at 2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March (03/11/2007), and end on 2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November (11/04/2007). To compensate for the change, operating system, application server, database, and Java vendors have released patches to update the internal DST information.
Adobe software does not work directly with real calendar times involving Daylight Saving Time (DST), but rely on 3rd party software such as operating system, application server, database, and Java version to properly handle calculations involving this event. It is essential that you review your 3rd party software vendor's requirements and update or patch per vendor recommendations to ensure the Adobe software behaves properly during the DST change. Should any issues be discovered, please contact Adobe Customer Care.
Please note that Adobe is not testing discontinued products, evaluation or not for resale versions of products or any versions of the software other than the most current version.

ALL OTHER LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY CONTAINED IN THE APPLICABLE SOFTWARE PRODUCT END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT SHALL APPLY.
NOTE THAT OTHER VENDORS MIGHT HAVE TIME AND DATE DEPENDENCIES THAT WOULD ALSO IMPACT LiveCycle AND OTHER APPLICATIONS.
A special note on Adobe PostScript products that are embedded in PostScript Printer products:
The Adobe PostScript technology deliverable made by Adobe for PostScript printer products uses either the C-Exec or the VxWorks operating system, neither of which has any concept of calendar time or date. So there is no mechanism intrinsic to the operating system that could cause it to be sensitive to any particular date. Thus there is no mechanism intrinsic to the Adobe-supplied code that could cause it to be sensitive to any particular date and no method to set or change a date within the PostScript code.
