Missing Font Warning opening Flash MX 2004 files in Flash 8
Issue
When using Macromedia Flash 8 to open Flash MX 2004 files in which missing fonts have already been substituted, the missing font dialog box appears. When the file opens, the fonts which had previously been replaced are returned to defaults (assuming a replacement was not chosen).
Reason
Neither Flash MX 2004 nor Flash 8 store substitute font information: the original font is always stored and reopening the file without replacing the fonts will always bring up the missing fonts dialog box. This is by design.

Solution
The only solution for this issue is to have the original fonts installed or choose a substitute font.
