Deleting custom arrowheads in FreeHand
FreeHand gives the user the ability to create custom arrowheads to apply to paths. This feature is available in the Stroke inspector. Custom arrowheads are useful for creating charts, graphs, and maps. The new custom arrowhead remains in the arrowhead pop-up menu and cannot be easily deleted when it is no longer needed.
To delete a custom arrowhead, follow these steps:
| 1 | Make sure there are no paths that use that custom arrowhead.
|
| 2 | Copy all objects and text. |
| 3 | Create a new FreeHand document and paste all the objects into the new document. |
This will cause the custom arrowhead menu to return to the default arrows and the unused custom arrowheads will not appear in the menu.
If, however, there is any path that still uses the custom arrowhead, then that arrowhead will be loaded into the menu when you paste into the new document.
