Error when you open Clip Notes PDF files with embedded QuickTime video (Premiere Pro 2.0)

Issue

When you try to open a Clip Notes PDF file with embedded QuickTime 7 video, Adobe Premiere Pro returns the following error message, "Couldnt find QuickTime Player on the system. Please make sure that QuickTime Player is properly installed and try again."

You are viewing the Clip Notes PDF file with a version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader prior to 7.0.5.

The Clip Notes PDF file was created on a computer with QuickTime 7 installed.

Solution: Install the Acrobat 7.0.5 update or the Adobe Reader 7.0.5 update.

In Acrobat or Adobe Reader, choose Help > Check For Updates Now to install the update.

Alternately, you can download the update from the Adobe website:

-- For Adobe Reader or Acrobat 7.x: Download the 7.0.5 update from the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/support/downloads/ .

-- For Adobe Reader 6.x or earlier: Download the full installation of Adobe Reader 7.0.5 from the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html .

Background information

This problem occurs when you use a version of Adobe Reader or Acrobat prior to 7.0.5 to view Clip Notes PDF files which contain QuickTime 7 video.
