Borderless printing does not work when you print from InDesign CS2
Issue
Printers that support borderless printing do not print borderless from InDesign CS2.
Detail
When you print the document, the printout shows a white border.
Solutions
Do one of the following solutions:
Solution 1: Use Define By Driver and select the borderless paper size.
1. In the InDesign CS2 Print dialog box, select Define By Driver from the Setup > Paper Size list.
2. Click Setup (Windows) or Page Setup (Mac OS) and select the borderless paper size.
Solution 2: Select a different printer, and then reselect the printer you want to use.
1. In the Print dialog, select a different printer from the printer list and then reselect the printer you want to use for borderless printing.
2. Select a borderless paper size.
Solution 3: Export to a PDF file and print from Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
1. In InDesign, choose File > Export.
2. Specify a name and location for the file.
3. From the Format menu, choose Adobe PDF, and then click Save.
4. In the Export Adobe PDF dialog box, do one or more of the following:
-- Choose a preset from the Adobe PDF Preset menu.
-- Select a category from the list on the left of the dialog box, and then set custom options.
-- Choose appropriate Standard and Compatibility settings.
5. Click Save.
6. Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader and print to your printer, making sure that borderless is selected in the Print dialog box.
Background information
Selecting a different printer and the reselecting your original printer can reset bad printer information.
