Brush Preset Picker does not close when you double-click it (Photoshop CS2)

Issue

The Brush Preset Picker menu in the Adobe Photoshop CS2 Options bar does not close when you double-click a brush preset.

Detail

The brush preset is selected on the first click, but is not highlighted until the second click.

Solutions

Do one of the following solutions:

Solution 1: Double-click on the brush again.

After you highlight the brush, double-click it a second time to close the Brush Preset Picker menu.

Solution 2: Click outside of the Brush Preset Picker menu.

Click outside of the Brush Preset Picker menu to close the menu.

Background information

A problem in Photoshop CS2 requires you to click twice on a brush preset to highlight it; this prevents a double-click from selecting a brush preset and closing the Brush Preset Picker menu at the same time.
