Background information
When you put a CD into the CD drive used for burning after you choose Burn A Video CD (Custom Slide Show) or click the Burn button (VCD with Menu), Photoshop Elements 3.0 displays an error and a blank field in the Select Destination Drive section of the Burn window because it can no longer locate the CD drive. Additionally, Photoshop Elements cannot locate your destination drive in the Burn window if you open System Information (Help > System Info) after you cancel from trying to burn a CD.
If you restart the application or insert a CD into the CD drive before you start the creation process, then these issues do not occur.
