Error "...GetRegQueryClassCallBack" when you start PageMaker (7.0 on Mac OS)

Issue

When you try to start Adobe PageMaker, it returns the error message "Can not open PageMaker because it cannot find a Microsoft application folder. Microsoft component extension: GetRegQueryClassCallBack."

Detail

Microsoft Office 2001 is installed.

Solutions

Do one of the following solutions:

Solution 1: Update to PageMaker 7.0.1.

Find the download and installation instructions on the Adobe website at: www.adobe.com/support/downloads/main.html .

Solution 2: Remove and reinstall Microsoft Office 2001.
