File type not supported | Create Adobe PDF Online serviceProducts affected


Create Adobe PDF Online doesn't support the format of the file that you want to convert to Adobe PDF.


Do one or more of the following:

Solution 1: Use the new Create PDF Online Printer to convert your document to PDF.

  1. Go to the Create Adobe PDF Online website at and sign in with your Adobe ID.
  2. On the right side of the main page, click the link to Add Create Adobe PDF Online To Your List Of Printers.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to install and use the printer.

Solution 2: Save your file in a supported format.

Do one of the following to save the file in a format that Create Adobe PDF Online supports. (See Additional information below for a list of supported formats.)

  • Open the file in the source application, and use the Save As or Export command to save it in a supported format.
  • If the Adobe PostScript (AdobePS) printer driver is installed, print the file to PostScript, and then convert the PostScript file to PDF. You can download AdobePS from Adobe's website at
