Create Adobe PDF Online Security

The Create Adobe PDF Online service is a secure Web site, which uses SSL (secure sockets layer) technology. Because the site is secure, all communication with the site, such as registering, logging in, or uploading files, is confidential.

For added security, Create Adobe PDF Online uses a cookie to identify you when you log in. (The cookie contains your login ID and a session ID).

By default, Adobe deletes your source files and resulting Adobe PDF files 72 hours after they are processed, regardless of whether you pick up the PDF files. (When processing fails, Adobe may keep files for up to 7 days to investigate the source of the error.) You can reduce the number of hours your files are stored by clicking Preferences when you log into Create Adobe PDF Online, and entering a Document Expiration Date value in the Service Options section. You can delete a file immediately after it is processed by clicking Conversion History, and then clicking Delete.
