Table Text Has a White Outline in Document Printed or Converted to PDF from FrameMaker for Windows
Issue
If you print an Adobe FrameMaker for Windows document or convert it to PDF, text in shaded table cells has a white outline.
Solution
Create shaded objects and place them over the shaded table cells:
1. Identify the custom fill and color pattern used to shade the table cells.
2. Using the Rectangle, Tint, and Color tools in the Tools palette, create an object with the identical size and patterns of one or more of the problematic table cells.
3. Place the object over the table cell (or cells) and choose Graphics > Send to Back.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for additional table cells as needed.
5. Save your changes and then print the document or re-create the PDF file.
Additional Information
FrameMaker for Windows relies on the Windows Graphical Device Interface (GDI) to create printed output. A conflict between the GDI and FrameMaker causes text in shaded table cells to have a white outline when you print a FrameMaker document or convert it to PDF.
