Error "Wrong Version of the English Interface..." When Starting FrameMaker 5.x for Mac OS

Issue

At startup, Adobe FrameMaker 5.x for Mac OS returns the error, "This is the Wrong Version of the English Interface File in the Modules Folder."

Solution

Reinstall FrameMaker. If you have installed multiple Frame products in one folder, reinstall each in a separate folder and set the Interface Languages to US English. See the "Installing Adobe FrameMaker" guide for information on installing Frame products.

Additional Information

At startup, FrameMaker searches for the Interface file. If it finds the wrong interface file (e.g., one for another Frame product), FrameMaker returns an error. FrameMaker also returns an error if the Interface file is open, compressed, or damaged, or if the Modules folder is named incorrectly.
