Unable to synchronize color settings with Bridge (Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2)

Issue

When you open the Color Settings window, one of the following messages appear:

-- "Unsynchronized: Your Creative Suite applications are not synchronized for consistent color." (Adobe Photoshop)

-- "Unsynchronized: Your Creative Suite applications are not synchronized for consistent color. To synchronize, select Suite Color Settings in Bridge." (Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign)

Detail

You selected different color settings in each Adobe application.

You purchased the Adobe application as a stand-alone product (that is, not as part of Adobe Creative Suite)

Solution: Choose the same color setting in each Adobe application.

To synchronize color across Adobe applications that you purchased individually, you must select the same color setting in each application.

1. Choose Edit > Color Settings.

2. Choose a color setting from the Settings pop-up menu.

3. Repeat steps 1-2 for each Adobe application.

Background information

Illustrator and InDesign prompt you to select the Suite Color Settings option in Bridge (Center); however, Bridge Center is included only with Adobe Creative Suite 2.0.
