Display Problems in FrameMaker for Windows

Issue

Adobe FrameMaker for Windows has display problems; for example, buttons are black or fill patterns are reversed.

Solutions

Do one or more of the following:

Solution 1

Refresh the screen by pressing Ctrl+l (lowercase L) or by minimizing and then maximizing FrameMaker.

Solution 2

Update the video driver. For assistance, contact the video card manufacturer.

Solution 3

If you use Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows 98, or Windows 95, lower graphics hardware acceleration:

In Windows Me, Windows 98, or Windows 95:

1. Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel, and then double-click System.

2. Click the Performance tab, and then click Graphics.

3. Move the slider bar one setting to the left, and click OK.

4. Click Close, and then click Yes to restart the computer. If the problem recurs, repeat steps 1-4.

In Windows 2000:

1. Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel, and then double-click Display.

2. Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.

3. Click the Troubleshooting tab.

4. Move the slider bar one setting to the left, and click OK. If the problem recurs, repeat steps 1-4.

Additional Information
