How to Preserve OLE Objects during Export/Import of SGML Document in FrameMaker+SGML
If you save an Adobe FrameMaker+SGML document as SGML in Windows, you can preserve OLE objects for later import into FrameMaker+SGML by using the following read/write rule in your application's rules file:
element "gi"{
is fm graphic element ["fmtag"];
writer facet "OLE"{
export to file "fname" as "MIF";
notation is "notation";}
}
For more information on the syntax of read/write rules, see Chapter 21 of the online FrameMaker+SGML Developer's Guide.
