Tool Palette Doesn't Display Properties of Selected Object in FrameMaker

Issue

When you select an Adobe FrameMaker object (for example, a line with an arrowhead), the properties in the Tools palette are not the object's properties.

Solution

Use the Pick Up Object Properties command to display the object's properties:

1. Select the object.

2. Hold down the Shift key, and choose Graphics > Pick Up Object Properties.

Additional Information

The Tools palette displays the last properties set for an object, not the properties of a selected object. New objects you draw have those properties, and you can apply the properties to a second object by selecting the second object and choosing the corresponding settings, such as Line End or Color, from the pop-up menus in the Tools palette.
