Solutions

Do one of the following:

Solution 1

Use FrameMaker 5.5 or later. For information on upgrading to the current version, visitAdobe's Web site at www.adobe.com/products/framemaker/main.html .

Solution 2

Change the custom numbering style for table footnotes:

1. Open the FrameMaker file.

2. Search for a footnote in a table.

3. When you locate the table footnote, choose Format > Document > Footnote Properties. In the Table Footnote Properties dialog box, type in a space or another character(s) for the Custom Numbering Style and click Set.

4. Save the file as RTF.

Additional Information

If the Custom Numbering Style for Table Footnotes is blank, FrameMaker 5 to 5.1.2 cannot save the file as RTF.
