Error Message When Using Openlink to Link to Current Document in FrameMaker 5.x

Issue

When you execute a hypertext command that uses openlink to link to the current document, Adobe FrameMaker 5.x returns an error message stating that the file cannot be found.

Solutions

Do either of the following:

Solution 1

Include the current document's file name in the command's syntax. For example:

openlink currentname:linkname

Solution 2

Use gotolink instead of openlink to link to the current document.

Addtional Information

In FrameMaker 5.x, you must include the name of the current document in addition to the name of the link when you use openlink in a hypertext command. Openlink works as expected in hypertext commands that link to other documents.
