How to Display Uppercase Text in FrameMaker Document and Mixed Case in TOC

In Adobe FrameMaker, text can appear as uppercase in a document but as mixed case in a generated table of contents (TOC). For example, "INTRODUCTION" can appear in a document whereas "Introduction" appears in a table of contents.

To format the text, type it into the document as you want it to appear in the table of contents (e.g., "Introduction"). Then, in the Default Font properties group in the Paragraph Designer, choose Uppercase from the lower pop-up menu on the right and click Apply. The text appears as uppercase in the document, but when you generate the table of contents, the text in the table of contents appears as you typed it into the document.
