Text below Floating Table Moves to Next Page in FrameMaker 5.01 and 5.1x

Issue

When you create a table in an Adobe FrameMaker 5.0.1 or 5.1.x with the Start Row position set to Float or Anywhere and you insert multiple table footnotes, text below the table moves to the next page even though there is enough space for it below the table.

Solution

Use FrameMaker 5.5 or later. For information on upgrading to the current version, visit Adobe's Web site at www.adobe.com/products/framemaker/main.html .

Additional Information

If a FrameMaker 5.0.1 or 5.1.x document contains a table with multiple footnotes, and the table's position is set to Float or Anywhere, the text following the table automatically moves to the next page even if there is enough text space under the table. This issue does not occur in FrameMaker 5.5 and later.
