Text Is Hidden by an Anchored Frame in a FrameMaker Document

Issue

Text is hidden by an anchored frame that spans an entire text column in an Adobe FrameMaker document.

Solution

Set the anchored frame's Anchoring Position to Below Current Line:

1. Select the anchored frame.

2. Choose Special > Anchored Frame.

3. Select Below Current Line from the Anchoring Position pop-up menu.

Additional Information

When an anchored frame's Anchoring Position is set to Run into Paragraph, text flows to the right or left of the anchored frame, depending on the anchored frame's alignment. If the anchored frame spans the entire text column, however, the text flows behind the anchored frame and is hidden. For anchored frames that span an entire text column, you should set the Anchoring Position to Below Current Line.
