Installing Breeze 5 / Connect Enterprise Server 6 with Windows IIS

Issue

When installing Breeze 5 / Connect Server 6 on a system with Windows IIS running, the dialog warning below prompts the user to abort the installation, uninstall IIS, and start the Breeze 5 / Connect Server 6 installation again. Additionally, if port 80 is in use by IIS (or another service), Breeze 5 / Connect Server 6 will fail to start after it has been installed.

Reason

Breeze 5 / Connect Server 6 and IIS both use port 80 by default. The Breeze 5 / Connect Server 6 installer will not allow the installation to continue if port 80 is in use.

Solution

Disable IIS or install Breeze 5 / Connect Server 6 on a different server.

Note: Installing Breeze 5 / Connect Server 6 with IIS is not an officially supported configuration. Adobe Technical Support cannot provide assistance to users using this configuration.
