DRK: DevNet Resource Kit component compatibility for Macromedia Flash MX 2004

The Flash components included in the DevNet Resource Kits Volume 1 - 4 are not designed to work with Flash MX 2004. These components may not function properly if installed into Flash MX 2004.

Solution

Updated component sets from the DevNet Resource Kits Volume 1-4 are now available as a free update to registered owners of the DRKs. The updated component sets are Flash MX 2004 and Flash Player 7 compatible versions of Flash UI Component Sets 3, 4, and 5; Charting Components Set 2; and Bevel Component Set. Download theUpdated DevNet Resource Kit Flash Components.

Do not install components originally included on the DevNet Resource Kits Volume 1-4 in Flash MX 2004. Please read the additional notes below for information about which DRK components have been included in Flash MX 2004 and the DRK components will not work.

DRK components included in Flash MX 2004

Much of the component functionality from the DevNet Resource Kits Volumes 1-4 has been included in components based on new architecture in Flash MX 2004. The following is the list of components included in Flash MX 2004 includes:
