Creating primitive 3D shapes with Lingo (Director 8.5)
This sample movie demonstrates one way to create primitive 3D shapes in Director using Lingo. While viewing this movie make sure to open the Shockwave 3D viewer for the 3D cast member named"newPrimitive". This will allow you rotate the camera around the models created.

The sample file includes code comments and a cast member named "Developer Notes" which contains implementation details.
Lingo
The following lingo commands were used to create the functionality in this sample movie. Please refer to the Lingo dictionary for more information about these terms: resetWorld(),newModel(), newModelResource, modelResource, member(cast property), height, width, radius, topRadius, bottomRadius, startAngle, endAngle.
Note:This is just one of the many ways to create this functionality in Director.
