Title

Creating an object without a fill or strokeProducts affected

Any shape drawn in Flash is made up of a stroke, fill or both. When generating new shapes, fill and stroke colors are chosen in the Colors section of the toolbox. You can assign a transparent stroke or fill to a shape as you're creating it. For existing objects and shapes, you must select the fill or stroke and delete it.

To create a new object without a stroke or fill:

1 Select the drawing tool of your choice (Oval, Rectangle, Pen).

Note: The Pen Tool cannot be used without a stroke color.

2 To assign a transparent stroke to the object first click the Stroke control in the toolbox and then click the None button. Or, click the triangle next to the Stroke color box and click the None button in the Color pop-up window.

To assign a transparent fill to the object click the Fill Color button and then click the None button. Or, click the triangle next to the Fill color box and click the None button in the Color pop-up window.

3 Draw the object using the selected drawing tool.
