Flash Player has 32 simultaneous sound channels limit

Flash Player 10 enhanced the ActionScript 3 Sound class API's to include dynamically generated audio:
However, the 32 channel limit remains. This is by design. Flash Player does not use external acceleration (such as DirectX) for sound. The player is solely responsible for rendering any audio in the SWF. If more than 32 sound channels play simultaneously, this can put a strain on the CPU, so we enforce a 32 channel limit.
