How to disable Flash Player''s print menuProducts affected

The right-click context menu in the Macromedia Flash Player (version 4.0.25.0 and later) gives the viewer the option to print the Flash movie.By default, this menu option will print all frames in the main Timeline, which is often not desirable.

To disable the print menu option, label the first frame of the main Timeline with a !#p, as shown below.

Note:The print action can still be used to allow users to print select parts of the movie..

If you'd prefer not to disable the print menu, yet still prevent the entire Timeline from being printed, label a frame in the main Timeline with a #p. This will cause only that frame to print when the print menu command is chosen. See Flash Player prints more frames than expected (TechNote 15083) for more information.

Additional information
For more information on printing from Flash Player refer to Printing Flash movies from a browser (TechNote 12838).
