Flash crashes while editing FLA file containing sound

When working with FLA files containing sound, Flash may crash randomly.

Reason

This was due to an issue with the sound panel in the original release of Flash 5 for Macintosh.

Solution

This issue has been addressed with an update to Flash for Macintosh, Flash 5.0a, available from the Macromedia Flash Support Download Center.
