Large and complex files take a long time to open
Issue
Opening a large or complex document in FreeHand 9 takes much longer than opening the same file in FreeHand 8.
Reason
The URL Editor is looking at each object in the file to see if there is a URL attached to it. With large or complex files this takes a very long time.
Solution
This issue is fixed by the 9.01 updater. Download it from http://www.macromedia.com/support/freehand/downloads.html.
