How to make a projector play full screen

How can a projector be set to display fullscreen?

Use the fscommand() function to issue the fullscreen command:

The fscommand() function determines if the the Adobe Flash animation is displayed in a window, or full-screen (covering the entire desktop). Attach the following ActionScript to the first frame of the animation to make the projector fill the desktop.

fscommand("fullscreen", "true");

Command Parameter Purpose
fullscreen true or false Specifying true sets the Flash Projector to full-screen mode. Specifying false returns the player to normal window mode.

Note: This technique applies only to projectors. These steps do not apply to playing full screen SWF files in a browser window. Full screen browser playback requires Flash Player 9,0,18,0 and certain new API features only available to that player version. For more information, see Adobe Labs.

Additional Information

There are other commands and parameters that can be issued with an fscommand function. For more instructions, see Using fscommand in Adobe Flash projectors.
