Creating DBF database files for use with the Multiuser Server
The Multiuser Server can link to databases in dBASE IV format with FoxPro format index files.
The following is one example of how to create DBF files from Microsoft Access:
| 1 | Select File > New Database. Or, select "Blank Database" when the program first starts. When prompted, name the file |
| 2 | With the Tables Tab in the forefront, select New. |
| 3 | Select Datasheet View. |
| 4 | Start adding data here. |
| 5 | When ready to save, select View > Design View. |
| 6 | Save the table name. |
| 7 | Select "Yes" to creating a primary key. |
| 8 | Select View > Datasheet View. |
| 9 | Select File > Save As/Export. |
| 10 | Select "To an External File or Database". |
| 11 | When the save dialog appears, select "Microsoft FoxPro 2.6" for "Save as type". |
