Page with CourseBuilder Interaction gives JavaScript Error: G01 is not defined or HTTP Error 404

Issue

When viewing pages containing CourseBuilder Interactions in a browser, I get the JavaScript error "G01 is not defined" or "HTTP Error 404, 404 Not Found. The Web server cannot find the file or script you asked for. Please check the URL to ensure that the path is correct. Please contact the server's administrator if this problem persists". What does this mean?

Reason

This error can occur when pages containing CourseBuilder Interactions are created and the runtime JavaScripts that are necessary to make the CourseBuilder Interactions work have not been included in the site folder or have not been uploaded to the server.

Solution

This problem can be solved by making sure the scripts folder gets created in the local folder when CourseBuilder Interactions are added to the page. When you upload your page, make sure you upload the scripts folder along with it. If for some reason you do not see the scripts folder in your local folder, you can copy them into your site directory by choosing Modify > CourseBuilder > Copy Support Files. There will be an option to copy image files in the Copy Support Files dialog box. If you are using any of the default CourseBuilder Interactions graphics, you may want to select this option so that the images folder is included as well. Once the scripts folder has been uploaded, you should have the correct JavaScript functionality without errors.
