Flash 4 trial version crashes on launch

Issue

The Flash 4 trial crashes on launch.

Solution

If a purchase and download trial version of Flash 4 crashes on a Macintosh on launch, reinstall Flash with your extensions turned off by restarting while holding down the shift key.

If the above does not work, you may have a corrupted Preferences folder- this is not a corruption of any particular Preferences file, but a corruption of the actual folder itself.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

	Remove the Preferences Folder from the System Folder.
	Launch Flash 4 .
	Copy the contents of the old Preferences folder into the newly created Preferences folder.
	Trash the old preferences folder.
