Port numbers for the Director Multiuser Server

Setting the port number for the Multiuser server
Any port number can be used with the Director Multiuser server. Simply specify the number in the config file. For example:

ServerPort = 1626

When connecting to the server using Lingo, make sure to match the port number that is specified in the server config file.

set errCode = ConnectToNetServer( myConnection, "Fred","secret",
"aserver.company.com", 1626, "ExcitingGame" )

When selecting a different number, the common range is between 49152 and 65535. Technically, however, any number may be used.

Note:1626 is the registered port number for Shockwave.
