Deleting a sound or a bitmap from the movie library doesn't decrease .FLA file size

Issue

When unused imported bitmap or sound files are deleted from the movie Library, the .fla file size does not decrease.

Solution

---

To workaround this issue, save the file with a different file name.

1. Delete the Library element.
2. Select File > Save As...
3. If the file name was 'mymovie.fla' rename it 'mymovie2.fla'
4. Select Save
